So you want to give somebody a membership gift? How thoughtful of you! You might have some questions, so here’s what to know before sending out your gift.
Visit the homepage and scroll down to the gifting a membership section.
You will have 2 options, a monthly membership and an annual membership.
Click the “Give This Gift” button for the membership you want to give. A box will pop up (pictured left on desktop/above on mobile)
Now you will enter in the email address of the person who will receive this gift. Be sure to have this email address correct, because this is how they will be notified of their gift AND the email they will use to log in!
Next, set the delivery date. This is the date that the email will be sent to the recipient notifying them that they received a gift!
You can also add a note in this process. Say something like, “Hi Linda, it’s Olive and I know how much you love your crochet. Here is a 1 month membership to an awesome crochet website!”
On the next section you will enter in your name and your email. This is so you will get your email receipt, and the recipient will be sent your name saying you ordered them this gift!
You will aslo be prompted to enter in your payment information.
Do note that the buyer is purchasing a one-time gift for the selected term! So if you purchase the 1 month plan, you will only pay for 1 month, it will not renew for the next month.. The gift recipient will be responsible for adding a payment method before the next renewal period (and will be reminded 1 week prior if they have not). This is due to my membership manager, sorry for any inconvenience!
If you would like to pay for say 3 months, simply enter in the recipients information in the box again! However, you could also contact me for a custom plan.
